Family brought me here.

I’m Adam, the owner of Charlotte Pro Painters. I grew up in Chicago with a single mom, and there wasn’t always the time or money to explore everything I wanted to do. After 23 years there, I moved my mother to North Carolina because the warmer weather was better for her health. I moved with her to care for her. Being here for her is something I’m blessed to do every day.

A chance to do things differently.

I started this business in 2021 after the painting company I worked for was sold. I had seen things I wanted to do differently: communicate clearly, follow through, and make the experience easier for the customer. So I took a chance and built Charlotte Pro Painters myself, one job at a time.

When someone hires us, I want them to know what to expect, feel comfortable asking questions, and be happy with both the finished work and the experience of getting there.

Inviting a crew into your home or business takes trust. I don’t take that lightly. At Charlotte Pro Painters, we only work with vetted teams who bring real, hands-on experience to the job. I want to feel confident in the people I send to your property, and I want you to feel that same confidence.

Our main crew is led by Ricardo, working alongside his son, Ricardo Jr. Ricardo brings more than 20 years of experience, with skills in interior and exterior painting, moulding, and drywall. That experience matters in the preparation, the repairs, and the details that make a finished job look right.

I started Charlotte Pro Painters, but getting it to where it is today has been a team effort. Ricardo and I have built our working relationship around clear communication and consistent, professional paint jobs. I work with you to understand the project and keep things moving; Ricardo and the crew bring the experience to carry out the work. Together, we help Charlotte homeowners, businesses, and property managers take care of their spaces.

This business has given me a living, the ability to be there for my mother, and the opportunity to pursue acting—a dream I finally gave myself permission to chase in 2023.
